The fine art of internal branding

Check out how we gave the staff at Lumley a splash of colour and vibrancy, and a dollop of inspiration and motivation.

Sometimes a seemingly small task can generate big results.

Lumley briefed us to come up with names for the meeting rooms in their new building. They didn’t just want any old names – they wanted to use the opportunity to convey to their staff the importance of giving their customers outstanding customer service.

BallantyneTaylor developed the idea of using aspirational and witty customer focused quotes from well known business leaders to engage staff with Lumley’s core values.

We turned each quote into a vivid, modern painting. The rooms were then named after the author of the quote. The eye-catching paintings became talking pieces in each room, as well as a service message to staff and customers alike.

With the number of meetings held in these rooms, this simple concept became a hard-working, ongoing internal branding device.
