CHALLENGE Serko is an online travel and expense management software that cuts the cost of corporate travel and empowers the modern business traveller. They needed help to launch a new version of Serko Incharge, their exciting business app that allows you to capture receipts on the go, radically simplifying the process of reconciling corporate card and cash expenses. To stand out, we needed to develop a creative, integrated campaign that would cut through the white noise of the Business Technology sector. APPROACH Business people know how stressful it can be submitting corporate expense claims to their CFOs, and we wanted to play on that moment of fear in a fun and quirky way. We developed an entertaining video using one actor to depict several different characters in their lost receipt scenarios. The wig-clad actor added a bit of humour to these universal business frustrations and we were able to carry the characters across in related digital display ads for Google, Facebook and business websites. OUTCOME The campaign generated a high level of engagement and was a great platform for the Serko sales team.
