CHALLENGE Auckland Communities Foundation needed to create a Summary Report that would to raise awareness and inspire generosity. The report had to convey large volumes of complex data in a meaningful and engaging way. APPROACH To evoke a philanthropic response, it was essential the data connected on an emotional level as well as an academic one. We used graphic iconography, quirky images and bold, modern shapes to bring the data to life. OUTCOME 10,000 copies were distributed. CEO of the foundation, Mark Bentley, said the report achieved an outstanding response, raising ACF’s profile and instigating a flood of donations.
