CHALLENGE Lockwood homes have a unique locking system that keep them protected in tornados and earthquakes up to 7.0 on the Richter scale. When a major earthquake hit Christchurch, we saw an opportunity for our long-time client, Lockwood, to create a well-timed tactical campaign. APPROACH We quickly ran a series of "alert" yellow ads in the national press that addressed the earthquake and leveraged Lockwoods’ proven durability, appealing to the innate human desire for safety and security. OUTCOME Web hits and enquiries leapt, as Lockwood became a compelling choice for shaken up locals needing to rebuild.
