CHALLENGE Skinfood was new to the skincare market, competing with massive, multinational brands. Their product line was affordable and aimed at families, with natural ingredients to appeal to modern mums. APPROACH We used a graphic ad campaign with light, evocative illustrations to show the many natural ingredients and iconic elements of New Zealand forming one droplet of lotion. OUTCOME The simplicity of the ads contrasted with the overly photoshopped and superficial adverts common in women’s magazines and effectively communicated the natural qualities and purity of the range.
